About me.

I am a photographic artist based in South Australia. My black and white photography aims to dignify the mundane. My practice relies on the individual perception and awareness of my everyday life; the object of my images is to create a bridge between an interior monologue and my external surroundings. I try to record ephemeral moments of light and relationships in an attempt to memorialise and give them permanence. My role behind the camera is a passive observer; I aim not to intrude or possess the scenes in which I photograph. I only wish to pay close attention to the quiet and fleeting parts of my day.

I am deeply passionate about the arts and the way images construct our visual culture. I have studied a Cert IV and Diploma in photography and digital imaging, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Throughout my photographic career, I have curated and exhibited my images as well as held photographic workshops for black and white street photography.

I love sharing my work and connecting with a community of local emerging artists. So, if you do like the work that you see, please feel free to contact me!
